The Prayer *Gathering*

“They all joined together constantly in prayer…” (Acts 1:14)
“They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer” (Acts 2:42)
“When they heard this, they raised their voices together in prayer…” (Acts 4:24)
“After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly” (Acts 4:31)
“…and will give our attention to prayer and the ministry of the word” (Acts 6:4)
Throughout Scripture, and in the book of Acts in particular, there is a strong emphasis not simply on personal, private prayer but on the corporate prayer gathering. In fact, out of all of the references to prayer found in the Bible, the vast majority of them concern the corporate aspect of prayer. This a vital and central facet of prayer ministry that must not be neglected.
Please join us for Corporate Prayer on Saturdays at 9am before the service.
